Hi everyone! So, day two of the STN Trip is coming to a close, and I just wanted to tell you all about it. Here it is!
So, we started off the day by waking up at 7:30 am and then eating a good breakfast. I was really excited because we were going to go to Magic Mountain later on, and it's something I was REALLY excited about :). After breakfast, some of the pen pals from Castaic Middle School came to meet up with us, although my pen pal (Dylynn) didn't come. But it was okay because I got to hang out with Lilly (her pen pal didn't come either) and Brooke, and Marlena, and their pen pal Mia (who is super, super nice!) Then, (finally!) we started walking to Magic Mountain, and the real adventure of day began!
On the walk to Magic Mountain, as we got closer to it, we could see the rides. Mia was pointing out all the names of the rides, and giving a short description. One ride that really stood out to me was called the "X2", and it was red and black, and went really fast with a lot of loops and drops, and at one point, fire came out! Anyways, when we got inside, we took a group picture, and then we were free to go on whatever rides we wanted. The first ride we (meaning Lilly, my dad, Brooke, Mia, Marlena, and I) went on was called the "Revolution", and it was a pretty nice ride to start off on. In fact, it was actually one of my favorites! From there, we went to a little kid ride (for Lilly's sake) and then of the Buckeneer, which is just like a Pharoah's Fury, but a tad bigger. We then went on the swings, the bumper cars (which I felt really stupid on because for like the first thirty second of the ride I was sitting in my car getting bumped by everyone wondering why my car wouldn't go until I figured out I actually needed to press the gas pedal!), the Colossis (which I really enjoyed), the Ninja (twice!), a water ride, some other rides, and then the Goliath.... The Goliath was a roller coaster that I had wanted go on since my last trip to Magic Mountain. And to describe it in three words, I would say: It was awesome! The drop wasn't all that I wanted it to be, but overall it was a really fun roller coaster, and Marlena, my dad, Brooke, and I even went on it twice! (Lilly and Mia were to scared to go!) After that we ate lunch, and then we went some more rides. I have to say,my favorite rides were the Goliath, the Colosis, and the Revolution, even though all the rides were fun because I got to ride on them with friends.
Dinner followed Magic Mountain, and me, Mia, Marlena, Lilly, and Brooke ate together. It was fun to get to talk about the day and look at pictures, and just be together! I am so thankful to have such awesome friends! Tomorrow we'll get to see Mia again because we are touring her school, and I'll get to meet my pen pal :)! Well, I guess that's all! Bye!
